To check out if you can sing Rolling in the deep or Easy on me, the most useful and time-saving method is to pick out the most difficult and highest passage of each song and to try to reach the same sound as in the rest of the song.

This illustration demonstrates the so-called vowel trapeze with English vowels and the position of these vowels in the oral cavity.
Based on the International Phonetic Alphabet, I would like to point out the most crucial vowel sounds a native English-speaking person would use for singing whatever language the lyrics are written in. Check out the cover picture of this podcast episode.

It is the primary goal of a belter to avoid uniformity and to keep its individual sound.
The range of a typical low-belt voice reaches from the tone A below middle C up to A, B flat, or B above middle C, sometimes up to D above the high C.
A singer who can easily produce the voice’s loudest tone in this range and is able to keep the belt sound at least up to B above middle C or even the high C, needs to be identified as a low-belt voice.
Any questions concerning the low-belt voice?
Just send an email to chrbonin@icloud.com and you will get help
